Workshop: Wired Animal Lamp

In this creative and technique-focused workshop, participants will create a charming 1-inch scale animal lamp, an ideal project for miniature enthusiasts who enjoy detailed, hands-on craftsmanship.

Students will be introduced to basic soldering techniques to construct a fully functioning wired lamp. Step-by-step instruction will guide participants through safely connecting components and ensuring the light operates properly.

A highlight of the workshop is learning rust-effect painting, where students will explore methods for creating an aged, worn, and realistic finish that adds depth and character to the piece.

Participants may choose to create either a bunny or a mouse lamp, or both, each offering its own unique personality and appeal.

Students should bring cutting mat, sharp scissors, tweezers, magnification, and lighting with an extension cord are highly recommended.
