Belated Happy New Year to you all! Hope you have had the warm reunions with the family and friends in December. Some mini Bordeaux pastry (canelés) and king cakes (galettes des rois) were just made before and after my vacations. Traditionally, the king cake is served on January 6th: the 12th day of Christmas. It is made of pâte feuilleté, puff pastry, and stuffed with a dense, creamy almond paste called frangipane. A fève, such as a figurine, is hidden inside. After the cake is cut, whoever gets the fève wins a crown and has good luck in the year!
In the beginning of 2022, I have some goodies for you: accessory parts sheets have just arrived. It took me a moment to complete the project. Hope it’s useful for your mini bags and mini clothes projects. 🙂
LDF Spring Online Showcase will take place on the 4th February. I expect to exhibit in KDF Summer Show in London in May. Hope everything goes well and I am able to make my dream come true!
