I met Cathy, the show director of the Philadelphia Miniaturia in Chicago in April; after some discussion and the sharing of experience, , I decided to fallow and joint my Italien fellows in Philly Show in November.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be conducting four workshops during the Philadelphia Miniaturia Show this November! Whether you’re a seasoned miniature enthusiast or just starting out, these sessions are designed to inspire and enhance your skills.

Workshop Dates: November 4th–6th, 2025
Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia/Cherry Hill, 2349 W. Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002

• Workshop 1:
Best Homemade Brownies
🕒 Date & Time: 4th November, 5pm-9pm

In this sweet and tiny workshop, students will create an irresistible brownie prep scene in perfect one-inch scale. From mixing bowls to the secret family recipe, every detail is crafted to look good enough to eat (but don’t—you’ll break a tooth!). Participants will learn miniature baking tips, tricks, and the “secret ingredients” behind the best homemade brownies.
The finished scene is assembled on a charming wooden board measuring approximately 1 7/10 by 2 2/4 inches—just the right size to serve up a slice of tiny delight!

• Workshop 2:
Fresh Artichokes and Veggie Preparation Board
🕒 Date & Time: 5th November, 8pm-12pm

In this farm-fresh one-inch scale workshop, students will whip up a rustic kitchen scene bursting with charm and tiny vegetables! They’ll sculpt tender artichokes, colorful chopped veggie stuffing, a proud little flour mountain complete with fresh egg yolks, and dough ready to be worked. Each scene includes a miniature egg box and—adding a personal touch—students will create their own handcrafted blue plates right in class.
For those who aren’t mini vegetarians, there’s even a buttery bonus: rich, creamy cheese and a pat of butter to complete the spread.
The finished creation is beautifully displayed on a wooden board measuring approximately 1 7/10 by 2 2/4 inches—a tiny tribute to wholesome, homemade goodness!

• Workshop 3:
Fish Fingers in Brioche Burger Buns
🕒 Date & Time: 5th November, 1pm-8pm

In this savory one-inch scale workshop, students will craft the ultimate seaside treat—mini style! The scene features fluffy brioche buns, crispy fried cod fish sticks, fresh salad leaves, golden chips and French fries (because why choose just one?), all assembled into mouthwatering burgers. Each tray is finished off with tiny servings of ketchup and tartar sauce—because condiments count, even when they’re teensy.
The complete scene is presented on a wooden board measuring approximately 1 7/10 by 2 2/4 inches—a perfectly plated miniature feast ready for display!

• Workshop 4:
Bejeweled Christmas Cakes
🕒 Date & Time: 6th November, 8am-12pm

Get ready to deck the halls (and the dessert table) in this sweet and sparkly one-inch scale workshop! Students will create their very own bejeweled Christmas fruit cakes completely from scratch—from hand-folded paper cake cases to glittering candied cherries and festive fruits. These tiny holiday treats can be presented on a delicate 1-inch plate or nestled into a cozy .8 x .8-inch tray—perfect for gifting or simply admiring.
And what’s a slice of Christmas cake without a proper cuppa? Why not add a miniature cup of tea to complete the scene? It’s a delightful celebration of holiday tradition in perfectly petite scale!
